My daughters and I stayed at Casa Golondrina last week for three nights. It was just what we wanted. The accommodation was perfect for us with 2 single beds in one room and a large double in the main bedroom which was also en suite. The kitchen was wsee more
My daughters and I stayed at Casa Golondrina last week for three nights. It was just what we wanted. The accommodation was perfect for us with 2 single beds in one room and a large double in the main bedroom which was also en suite. The kitchen was well stocked and we didn't want for anything. The outside area is where we spent most of our time and ate all of our meals. The charcoal BBQ was excellent but there is also a gas BBQ if you prefer. The pool area had sun loungers and parasols and it was a treat to have our own pool to use whenever we wanted. We enjoyed late night swims after returning to the villa after having dinner at the local restaurants. There are several restaurants within a 10 minute walk and even more if you walk a bit further towards the sea. You may need to book for dinner if you choose one of the more upmarket/popular venues. A real gem for me was a little patisserie 10 minutes walk from the villa on the main road. Excellent coffee and the best pain au chocolate!
